College football is such a clusterfuck, U-M could easily win 10 games or 5 games. Nobody has any idea how Rich Rod's system will look year by year as he slowly phases out the old players and phases in his new ones.

I'm with Deacon on this one. Maybe 6. I also think they'll lose to MSU again. They're still very young and lack depth on defense. The turnaround should begin next season.

Todays paper reports that RichRod has consistantly violated NCAA policies regarding off season practicing.

If there are sanctions levied as a result of these allegations, not only should he be fired immediately, but Martin should be shown the door also.

This guy does not embody Michigan football and I am getting to dislike him more and more every day.

Yeah... because disgruntled players are always paragons of truth and honesty, which for all we know are the ones leaking these things.

I'd like to hear more before I make a judgment one way or the other. At worst, this will result in a slap on the wrist, anyway, because hey, it's U-M Baby!

Sounds serious, but I too will wait and see how it plays out. The Freep has been slanting everything against U-M for a while now. The Feagin story was a joke. Apparently Rodriguez was supposed to know things about the kid that his own high school coach didn't know. Rosenberg has become the new Jim Carty. Rodriguez and Barwis do strike me as being extremely competitive and demanding. Rodriguez recently said that there are now 30 players who can do 300 lbs. power cleans as opposed to only 1 last year. And Tate Forcier has put on 24 lbs. since arriving in June. But if these allegations are true Martin will need to come down hard on his head coach. College is supposed to be fun. Here's what the father of freshman offenive lineman Michael Schofield reportedly wrote to a site:

"As a parent of a Michigan player I will say that the Freep is full of shit. Michael spent more time this summer on class work than any thing else, he came home to visit, there were no Barwis police chasing him making him pratice, he played basketball, goofed around with other sports athlets at the dorms, like all college kids do. To say that these kids are training or being made to train over the NCAA limits is untrue...what my wife and I like about Michigan Football was there committment to education first. Some thing the Freep does not belive in.
