There's an obvious talent difference between their D and our O, but they also seem to be dialed in to what we're trying to do. OSU visited Southern Florida in the off season to ask their staff how to stop the Rodriguez offense.

OSU 42-7. Just 3 more points and it's the MSU score. Rodriguez needs to recruit big players and give up on these little electron guys like Odoms, McGuffie and Feagin. They're getting killed! Of course, it would help if someone would block.

My wife grew up in Ann Arbor--actually went to high school with Bob Seger. She never went to UM and doesn't follow college football, but she's a die hard Blue fan. And I trust her instincts. She says they never should have hired Rodriguez and should get rid of him. I'm starting to come around to her way of thinking. If next year is anything like this year, they should acknowledge they've made a mistake, and buy him out.
Big plays hurt the defense. You can beat them deep because they lack speed, and they continue to miss tackles that lead to long runs. Overall, they didn't play too badly. Offensively, other than Brandon Minor, they sucked. You can't beat a good OSU defense with a walk-on QB surrounded by freshmen.
