I thought they had a shot, but it wasn't going to be a particularly good one. They have the talent for a very deep run, but the bracket didn't do them many favors at all.
They've got a puncher's chance against Auburn, honestly... but they're going to have to do what they did with A&M, only even better. They can get it done though.

Auburn has good size (6'10" & 6'11") that may neutralize our guys so we'll need Tre to have a Revenge Game. I think he can. And if LJ's late rise and Gayle's breakout can be built off of, we've got a solid shot. We did just put up 91 points against one of the best defenses in college basketball who was also a team that beat Auburn two weeks ago, so I feel decent about our chances.
But it's all icing on the cake. We won EIGHT games last year. Winning a championship banner in the B1G and getting to the Sweet Sixteen means we've already had a great season.โ
Hopefully, the women can pull off a major upset today (45 minutes from now!) at Notre Dame. Their season, considering all the departures, is just as impressive as what Dusty's boys have done. The best part is 3 of their 4 top players are Freshman. The future for KBA and co. is very bright!
