It's big ten football, You typically need good quarterback play to survive, Spartans were garbage between Cousins and Cook and they are garbage now with Lewerke. Patterson sucks too but Wolverines always have more overall talent due to prestige and recruiting so they are floating a little better but they still aren't a legit threat either. Spartans just don't have the talent level to overcome a weak quarterback, I knew this season was a loss before it started.

Ahh I see, well they'll probably win the next three and get destroyed by OSU but we will see. I hope not though I'll never root for OSU. But the Wolverines chances are probably about as good as the Spartans chances against the Wolverines. Not very good with slight chance of showing up against a rival.

OSU is going to be more talented at every position on the field for a long time. They have a distinct identity, and will stop at nothing to get the best players to fit that scheme and identity.
Michigan still hasn't figured out exactly what they want to be, and are inherently limited in the talent they can recruit.
"The Game" is dead, and it's going to be dead for a while. The best Wolvy can hope for is maybe shocking the world once or twice a decade, kinda like Auburn and Alabama currently.
