Now, I wouldn't go THAT far. Army isn't exactly an easy, cupcake run-up-the-score opponent. But #7 (and even #10) is too high. They SHOULD be in the #15-18 range, probably just a little ahead of Sparty.

Probably looking at a 9-3, 10-2 year. Wolvy needs to accept that is GOING to be their ceiling unless they want to play "dirty" like Alabama, Clemson, or Ohio State.

9-3? I don't see a win among Wisconsin, PSU, OSU, MSU, ND OR Iowa. I have Maryland as a loss but that is really a pick'em

Penn State, Iowa, and Wisconsin have the same problem as Michigan; neither aren't quite as good as their reputation (in fact, Penn State right now has their hands full with Pitt).

MSU's defense is stout, but again, their offense is garbage. That's a pick 'em, but I think Wolvy wins.

Notre Dame is Michigan on steroids, getting high rankings based on history, and almost never living up to the hype.

Wolvy nigh assuredly loses to Ohio State, but those other four would be either even money or Wolvy favored.

You're going to be waiting a very long time. Wolvy's days of being able to hang with Ohio State while keeping their nose out of the dirt is long over. Play "dirty" (by looking the other way at bad character, shady recruiting tricks, etc.) or accept your ceiling is second place. I personally don't care which, but you all have got to get it out of your heads that you can have your cake and eat it too. Not anymore. And probably never again. There's too much competition for the talent needed.

Yeah, there's two of your teams that are going to contribute to Michigan's 5-7 season. An MSU team that couldn't beat arguably a worse foe than Army, and a team that needed every last second to stave off overtime against a school that is probably barely aware they even have a football program at this point.

Army's hardly a joke, cupcake squad. The #7 team in the nation should be able to handle them fairly easily, but they can give any third tier team (which Michigan is, accept it Wolvy) trouble on any given Saturday.
