Michigan made the decision to shorten the 2nd half. Proof? 40 plays in 1st half with 63% being passes. They ran 33 in 2nd half 67% being runs. IMO for this team to be better than just 8-4 9-3 good Patterson has to step up and be better than just good. Dont see that happening, he is what he is, a senior with a weak arm who holds the ball too long at times and throws behind receivers too often.

The Interior line blocking was solid. Blocked inside zone especially well, that is what set up play action passes in 1st half. Eubanks still is not an accomplished blocker. Bell needs to let ball drop, come down, a bit. On his TD drop if he takes another stride ball is easier handle.

On the D brown will never change, when playing so much man.. don't account for QB. Needs to be better on pick or rub off patterns. MTS attacked with swing and screen passes. Lavert Hill cost 2 TDs that simple. Vincent Gray had a great game, is the good news and Hutch starting to look very good.

They looked like your typical Harbaugh team to be. Undisciplined and blowing coverages which led to some big plays. He's a bad coach. This has been obvious for years now. These are his recruits, too.

The highlight for me was being up 19 and having 4th and goal from like the 2 and going for it. Obviously, we got stuffed. Why in the hell would you not kick the FG there and go up 22?

This moron has been getting a pass because he's a "Michigan Man." Hopefully that changes this year as his constant poor decisions will cost us some games as usual.

The offense was better than last year. We actually made some plays downfield. We just look small up front on defense and the secondary is vanilla. Somehow we left a WR wide open in the corner of the endzone.

This team isn't a contender.

I like Harbaugh, (and he's the best coach for M) IMO

But it is frustrating to watch at times. He just doesn't get when to go for 2 or kick the extra point (though a lot of other HC don't get it either. His clock management is as bad as Bo, spiking the ball with 2 time outs in your pocket with less than 30 seconds in the half? (some boards call him Bo .02). The 2 qbs on the field at the same has to come from him b/c he said it at a presser --- just DUMB!! If it is Gattis and he really has the key to the car, he better stop that foolishness + one could get hurt smh

Note) I could never cheer Michigan if a slimball like Mike Dantonio or even Urban Meyer was our HC :-) I didn't like LLLLoyd, and I was right about him all along.

I had to take a few days to really think about this one. In no way shape or form should Michigan ever be trailing a team like Middle Tenn. They're not Rutgers by any means but they're not in the same class as Michigan.

I'm not sure where to start so I might as well start with Patterson. The kid is a gamer but I'm starting to really think that we have the wrong QB starting. Of course it's hard to tell when Dylan McCaffrey comes in and basically runs the ball every play.

I know we didn't have all of our DT's playing but the interior of the DL is a problem. What in the holy F*CK happened with A Solomon? That dude could have been a beast for Michigan and there's limitless potential and playing time for him.

Zach Charbonnet will be a F*CKING beast in Ann Arbor. Seriously, he's the best RB we've had at Michigan in a very very long time. He'll spell big trouble for opposing defenses. Higdon willed and bullied his way to some great seasons but Charbonnet is going to destroy.

T Black and N Collins are straight up men. Get Peoples-Jones out of his walking boot and back on the field and you have some major pieces to a high powered offense.

The difference between Gattis and Drevno is like night and day. It was game 1 and there's still things to be ironed out but that 1st half was pretty good. The second half was just us trying to get the game over with.

Gray playing like he belongs was exactly what that unit needed.

Its difficult to know what we have in Dylan McCaffrey but Patterson just doesn't have it. I'll be damned curious to see what happens after the year is up. If things go relatively the same way he'll have good numbers but not be ready for the pro's. There's no way he can be here again next year.
