Back in the SEC: The Wolverines will face a Southeastern Conference school for the 34th time. They are 24-8-1 in those meetings, including 8-5 in bowl matchups.

Because honestly, outside of Alabama, the SEC... really isn't all that great. Like pretty much every conference, they have one power team, a couple good teams that occasionally challenge that power team, and the rest are middling to garbage.

The SEC honestly hasn't EVER been the juggernaut of a conference the pundits claim it is, and it hasn't even been particularly better from top to bottom for more than a decade.

Speight just isnt that good.. Good thing for Blue our defense is really damned good. This game reminds me a lot of the Ohio game last year. Our D was killing them and Speight let them in the door with his INTs.

We'll see what they're made of in the second half. Michigan is by far the better team.
