  • Kid tried to advance the ball but was not thinking American Football.

    I am OK with that.

He owned it and I respect his response.

    Play on.

    Will not happen again.

He also is not feeling the passion of losing a heartbreaking American football game. Matter fact he seems to be enjoying his celebrity status, joking winking, smiling in many interviews since - its all good mate - mistakes happen we move on. One reporter obviously puzzled by his lack of heartbreak/sorrow , ask him do you understand the magnitude of how the fans feel about this loss? His answer, no not really.

I thought Dantonio handled the miracle win with a lot of class also.

    • Oh yeah and then there is Matt Millen who thinks Michigan won the game still - “For all intents and purposes they have one loss. I think the rest of the country looks at that and says it’s an anomaly.”

      lmfao what a clown!

        He's not wrong, though.

Michigan had that game won, and it was a miracle of a fluke play that turned it around for the Spartans. The pollsters didn't exactly credit Sparty too much that following morning. They know, and even the Spartans know, that Sparty got lucky as hell and that they should have an "L" next to Michigan's name in the schedule.

        • "It doesn't make Harbaugh a bad coach but that was a bad call."
-------------------------------Agree completely. LOVE Harbaugh. He fucked up though in the end.

          • Absolutely. I'm dyed in the wool maize and blue, and believe Harbaugh is a fantastic coach, but the right protection was not employed whether Oneill dropped the ball or not. Harbaugh said later he would have liked to have done that differently, but at no time did he say,"I'm the head coach; I'm to blame." Instead he went with, "Blake dropped the ball." Technically correct, but not acknowledging his (Harbaugh's) role in the "fluke" play.

If you watch the college game this can be said every Saturday that team A had the game won and team B stole it. Dantiono had full block punt on, nobody back. Michigan from what a read (didn't see it live, not watching it again) had a gunner all alone (WR Chessen) wide out just standing there watching. Punting a risky and problebly the worst option, good coaching and some luck made the miracle. Last I looked you play the game 60.00 minutes not 59.50. That disaster by M was waiting to happen, better team won IMO

You have been watching too much Lions football. ;)

                    Bad play call
                    Piss poor recognition of it
                    Poor execution
Fumblerooski and throw away an otherwise winnable game

                            Yup.

It was somewhat curious as the Coaches job after the end of the game is to walk over to the other Coach and congratulate him.

I have not seen what happened with him but if I am the Coach of that team and we just won like that, I am heading to my players that made it happen.

I do believe once he got to the endzone he had concerns over his players injury but, talking shit? Not his style but, the reason for lack of sportsmanship should certainly be explained better than that.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

                                The only logical explanation is:
I'm about to die and this is my Jacob's Ladder
