Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

No maybe about it. He's done. He's been done. UM could have blown the Bucks out today and he still would have been done.

        • I have no link but heard the intrim AD is likely to be named permanent AD.

          Surprise, surprise!

          • Hackett has a good resume'. Better than I thought... I wish they would get someone with successful athletic director experience though.

              • I think Tressel loves OSU. What if he took money & destroyed the program even more on purpose haha.

That's what I would do if I was already rich enough to retire and was hired as athletic director of OSU.

Welcome to college athletics now. Universities want people who can make money first; results on the field are secondary.

                    • I wonder if Nussmeier will be considered for HC once Hoke is gone. Was Nussie a Hoke hire or former AD hire?

                      • I suspect that is what he was hired for.

He was definitely not a Hoke hire as Hoke was not at the presser announcing his hiring.

.......which was controversial when it happened.

Would be a great defensive coordinator for any team... good head coach at several programs too (like a Purdue, IU, or Illinois).

                            • "Nebraska was 8-17 vs AP-ranked teams under Bo Pelini, including 3-9 on road. 0 BCS Bowl wins and 0 Conference championships with him." ... plus the recent games vs Wisconsin have been embarrassing.

That's why Nebraska fans got annoyed of him.
