Going to be interesting to see what he does with his coordinators. He actually has a chance to get the band back together with Vic Fangio and Greg Roman if he wanted to. But that goes against the key decision he made at Michigan to go with younger new blood at those positions. I would be surprised if he doesn’t take Minter with him though.

Interested what that #5 overall pick turns into. Harbaugh era can start out pretty well by using our Lions blueprint. Draft the best OT in Alt or Fashanu to pair with Rashawn Slater. Have two stud OTs starting for you and keep Herbert protected long term. I imagine that’s the idea given Harbaugh’s style to build in the trenches.

Minter's future was always going to be in the NFL. Dude was simply too good and too young to be locked in the college ranks.

Martindale and Cullen would be good NFL hires for Moore from a x's and o's standpoint. Hell Martindale taught Minter and Macdonald the system they ran. My only concern would be recruiting specifically with Martindale. He helps us zero on that front and Michigan is falling behind in a big way recruiting.

The only time Naked Joe Cullen has run a defense in the last 20 years was as part of the disastrous Urban Meyer staff in Jacksonville.

Martindale has at least had a good run lately, but he’s the Don Brown of the NFL and was pushed out of Baltimore because of his inability to adapt. Sound familiar? He also hasn’t coached in college for over 20 years which
means he hasn’t had to recruit.

i get that maybe Moore wants to add some veteran coaches to the mix. He’s not Harbaugh with 20 years of high level HC experience to lean on. but this would be the exact opposite of what helped turn UM around these last 3 years.
