I never liked 500 teams making bowl games but now with the players opting out of games and the playoff system it really has made the bowl games less interesting then they already were.
But admittedly I don’t watch much of college ball anymore so I could be off on my conclusion.

Personally I would go the undefeated teams and Bama. They won the SEC against the #1 team in the land. Georgia is still IMO the best team in the nation but Alabama beat them.
