It’s not that Hart was the favorite but Hart would have been considered among internal candidates and Gattis wasn’t under consideration. All just random anonymous reporting of course. But it would jive with Gattis’ message about the admin not appreciating/respecting him.

Yeah, saw a better replay on the TV when I got home and it wasn’t a closed fist, more like an open hand slap, push. If it was a straight out punch I’d say gone. Still, ugly, ugly look. Rest of the season suspension would make sense.

Anyone who goes to basketball games knows it doesn't matter if its a sixth grade game, high school game or college game. You realize things get heated, normally mild mannered fans turn into jackasses. If you ever coach you have to suppress that urge. There is a time honored tradition of calling off the dogs in a basketball game when the outcome is not in question. The reason for this is to cool everyone down. If you are the losing team and you are full court pressing down 16 points, you can't expect the opposing coach not to call time outs.Comment
