This situation is so bizarre. Word on the street is that he informed Warde that this won’t be a reoccurring theme and he’s there to stay. Was this because of a contract? It never made sense to me on why he’d do this on NSD.

Obviously you’re not a Harbaugh fan but I don’t see how him leaving right now would have benefited the program. Trying to land a new HC this late would have sunk U of M.

If JJ McCarthy isn’t the QB this upcoming year I’ll be firmly on the someone else bandwagon. I love Harbaugh but at some point Michigan has got to have The Guy at QB.

The SEC is on a different level but next year needs to be McCarthy or bust. Cade is a game manger that works his ass off and is a good leader. JJ has pure talent that Cade doesn’t have.

My guess is teams went to Harbaugh to gauge his interest, and he entertained them. I'm not sure how that's something to get all bent out of shape about unless you're one of those ossified twats who insist that U-M is the pinnacle and last stop of a coach's career.

It sounds like Gattis felt like he was underpaid and didn’t feel appreciated. That’s a 180 from his shedding tears accepting his OC of the year award.

The rumors were Gattis was not on the shortlist of potential Harbaugh replacements when it looked like Jimbo was headed to the Vikings, but Mike Hart was. If thats the case, I can see that pissing him off.

I have never been a big Gattis fan (yea I know he won the award) after 'speed and space 'was a disaster. He hasn't been recruiting for 2 years, possibly for - well let's just say I hope the nasty rumors are false. Cant blame him for leaving for way more $$ though.


Not sure where you heard about Hart? That would not happen (yet) I really like Hart.
