I also wanted to say something about Tate Forcier being taking out for Sheridan and Shoelace.
Forcier took himself out when Sheridan came in to throw the INT, he got his leg twisted and was shaken up for a bit.
Great game! Just what M and RR needed and they found their QB-
Forcier will be the #1 guy all year, with Denard coming in as much as possible with his big play potential every time he touches the ball. Sheridan baring injuries can get use to holding the clipboard, nice effort kid, but your not a big time college QB.

Michigan looked pretty good for a half today. Forcier is obviously the best QB. Robinson looks to run way too soon. I don't think Western is as bad as they looked in the first half. Michigan came out with a lot of energy and enthusiasm early, and Western looked a little uptight. The game got away from them quickly. I hope RR settles on one QB because all the shuffling hurt the offense. Much to work on for next week. Were they typical first game mistakes or the kind of mistakes we can expect from a team playing freshmen and sophomores? Notre Dame is a year ahead of U-M in their rebuilding project. My biggest fear is Clausen going deep on the DBs. It should be an interesting test.I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

Ohio State has been the class of a terrible Big 10 for several years. This year the Big 10 may be the 6th best conference. Pretty sad considering that from the 60's through about 2003 that at least Michigan and/or Ohio State were a legitimate national power house.
Michigan will surpass Ohio State next year and will play at a level that you see Florida and Texas do. The rest of the Big 10 will have to catch up to the speed of Michigan or be left behind.
And last, after watching Terrell Pryor last year and seeing highlights from today (complete with Vick eyeshadow) I am thankful he selected Ohio State. He obviously wants the attention focused on him not the team. He plays as if he is out of sync with that offense. This is because he wants to be an NFL QB (never happen)but doesn't have the talent as a drop back passer. Ohio State doesn't play to his strengths which will be interesting to see if they try to next season.
I am very happy with Forcier and Robinson. That is a young team that will only get better. Michigan football is on it's way back and will be stronger than it has been in a long time.

Forcier and Robinson, with Forcier getting the majority of the reps as starter. No way you keep Robinson off the field though. He is raw as hell but you can see the potential oozing out of him.

I thought it was kind of funny/awkward when the commentators mentioned how the much faster and stronger the player are under another year of Michigans tough conditioning program.
Nice game for UofM though.. must get win and they won pretty soundly. Got one monkey off its back with that first game loss streak and hinted that RR's system is working after not seeing anything all last year.Rashean Mathis: "I'm an egg guy. Players that have no room in his system that know they won't get any playing time it has been reported. Transfer don't cry about working hard and getting a free education.
We're talkin about practice......................how silly is that!
