I told him that before the season began, I did not care about how many wins and that beating Michigan State or Ohio State (or both) would define for me if it was a success or not.
He looked at me puzzled and remarked "So, you think this season was not a success?"
I replied no. I am counting the Michigan State loss as a win.
He bursted out laughing and said, I am going to tell that to Kyle (his brother who is a Michigan State Alumn).
I see the 4 and 5 star recruits considering Michigan in 16-17 and I find that very encouraging.
I have no doubt the NFL will come knocking this season but I think Harbaugh feels he has some unfinished business to take care of and did not take the job just to bide time until the next NFL offer comes around.Forever One!

Michigan's W-L record is pretty much right where it should be. Not a bad year by any stretch considering how terribly downward the program was going.
EDIT: For the record, I think something similar to MSU this year. Nebraska should have been a win and Michigan should have been a loss.

^ for once agree 100%. State was lucky, even though they were more productive yardage wise, to end up with a win against UM. They were equally unlucky in that horrible call to lose to Nebraska.
Is it irony that State has been the beneficiary twice of being pushed out of bounds and being able to come back in and make a play. Hardly ever see it and it's happened twice since that Nebraska call.Forever One!

Best season for me since 1999 ? Before I really started to dislike Carr. M win over Bama in the Orange.
Fatmans first year was an aberration and I have stated it many times, lucky jump balls all year from Robinson pulled in by Hemingway.
Disappointed loss vs osu, It came down to lack of depth. We don’t have the depth right now to replace the key injuries. Bowl win will really help the mood, ether way it's really great when you have the perfect coach you want in place. Things are looking up, Harbaugh!
