^ no shit ... since CGVT's been alive the series is 45-33-2 in favor of Michigan. Hardly 'dominant'.
Of course if you ask an Wolverine they really didn't lose any of those 33 either. It was either the 'field was crowned' or 'spartan Bob' cheating the clock or 'Desmond getting tripped or simply an anamoly.
The delusion is strong ... I love hearing UM fans now championing together that OSU threw the game against State on purpose just to spite Michigan.
That's true ... some of that illustrious fan base actually believe that to be the case.Forever One!

Jesus you guys will argue about anything.
The word "anomaly" was used to describe *how* MSU won that one game. It was not used to suggest that MSU winning against UM was an anomaly.
Given that before that last snap the chances of UM winning were somewhere around 99%, the word anomaly is appropriate. Only someone with a hyper inferiority complex would take issue with it.

Damn, Mass. You have a serious case of Avis Syndrome.
"We're number two so we try harder" (even when at this point it's not true)
Shit, you can't even enjoy having a good team without getting all butt-hurt about some perceived slight.
Enjoy MSU's season and possible shot at a national championship. You have a team that has been decimated by injuries, but still has over come all obstacles enroute to a probable conference championship and a possible shot at the national championship and you worry about what fans of another team say?
Why not enjoy the ride?I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

seriously .....
some of the hypocrisy is truly remarkable, and I know both fan bases are fully capable of producing it, but the stuff I've read over the last few weeks is funny.
There's a local UM slappy named Sam Webb who apparently has a radio show in Michigan. He has a fervent Walverine following because he tells them what they want to hear about how every recruit is coming to UM (unless they don't have the grades, or Harbaugh doesn't want them) who is actually telling people with a straight face that the only explanation for State beating the Buckeyes is that Meyer wanted to stick it to the Harbaugh's and lost the game on purpose. You can't make that shit up.Forever One!

Slappies are slappies regardless of who they root for. That stuff generally doesn't bother me, but what is annoying is when the national media writes 10 stories about how OSU was the most overrated team after MSU beats them for every story written on how remarkable MSU's win was. What happens when an SEC team loses to another SEC team? Not that. It's unfair to MSU (and OSU if you think about it). MSU's chip-on-shoulder $$.Rashean Mathis: "I'm an egg guy. Last year we didn't have (the omelet station). I didn't complain, but I was dying inside."

I hear you on the SEC thing. Living in SEC country is tough. They constantly hear how dominant they are over and over and over. In reality, there is one really good team in the SEC a couple of good teams and a bunch of mediocre teams and a couple of bad teams, the same as any other conference. The problem is that they are always over rated. That way every SEC win is a good win and probably more importantly, every SEC loss is a good loss.
Over-rated SEC teams coming into this season: Auburn was ranked 6th-they suck, LSU A&M, Georgia, both MS teams, Arkansas, and Tennessee
Shitty Teams: The above mentioned Auburn, Missouri, SC Kentucky, Vandy.
If you take the top three teams in all of the power 5 conferences, they are all very competitive. You can't tell me that Clemson, NC and FL ST, or M, MSU and OSU are not as good if not better as all of the teams in the SEC except AlabamaI feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

If I had a nickel for ever time I've heard a local radio talking head say "playing that tough SEC schedule"...
