Yeah, it looks to me as if injuries are going to ruin what looked to be a very promising, maybe even special season. They are still finding a way to win against weaker teams and may very well beat Michigan next week, but the injuries this year have been brutal.

MSU could still mature into a dominant team this year. Teams always change over the course of a season. Hopefully something clicks before next saturday (from a State fan's perspective at least).
What surprises me more is not MSUs performance so far. It's just how good UofM is rolling already.Rashean Mathis: "I'm an egg guy. Last year we didn't have (the omelet station). I didn't complain, but I was dying inside."

Sparty should be very proud of what they have accomplished.
Fact is, like Blue has learned, accomplishments are great, but this is a new game, new time to accomplish.
Sparty had taken advantage of that and performed wonderfully.
As in all sports, the next game is what have you done for me lately?I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

But I AM surprised at how frightening M's defense has gotten so quickly. Harbaugh has taken this group of what seemed like hedge clippers and somehow jury-rigged a tree eating chainsaw.Last edited by chemiclord; October 13, 2015, 07:05 PM.

That said, I'm pretty confident that Harbaugh won't allow that mindset.AAL: KhaDarel Hodges

In college football, it's a bit disingenuous to say well they did beat that team, but since that team has lost two other times so that win doesn't mean much.
