  • I had to watch the mixed games on CBS which means I was watching the box score at the top of the screen. It was frustrating watching M's score stay still. They apparently didn't score well in the second half.

I have never heard it called that way, ever. It might be the rule, but its not called that way.

      • I would have loved to see that game replayed and called evenly.

It was the opposite of the Clemson game. They had a couple good shots rim out to start the second half. Just bad luck on those.

          • Michigan still would have lost. They were seriously outclassed in the talent level.

              I agree.

This was a very successful season for Michigan. Making the tourney and winning a game made it so. Losing today was not a surprise or unexpected and no, they did not get screwed.

Beilien is a good coach. The future of U of M basketball looks bright.

                • The only thing I found rather ridiculous about this game was one of the announcers trying to contend that Blake Griffin's star status made it tougher on him with the zebras.

Talk about out of touch with reality.

                  • Not nearly as bad as the Clemson game...

"That's not a punch, obviously its not a punch, no way the refs will find that's a punch."

*Oglesby is ejected for throwing a punch*

"Well obviously, the elbow was thrown with intent, yeah he had the intent to hit him there, oh yeah, he hit him on purpose"

                    LOL!

                    • Of all the major sports, I find basketball to be the worse officiated. I have not watched basketball for many years for that very reason. And as a Michigan fan, I have always admitted that the foul that put Rumeal Robinson on the line to beat Seton Hall in the championship game was totally bogus.

                      • I forgot completely about the T on Michigan. What the fuck was that?

                        • Typical "catch the reaction" call.

The other Griffin cursed at an official, the Michigan bench got all agitated about it, and one of the bench players got T'ed up for it.

                          • I know that's what the announcers said, but who said what??

                            • While I'm not an expert lip-reader, I think T. Griffin said, "Blind fucking ref! Call that shit!"

As for who and what happened on the U-M bench, who knows? It could have been anything from a bench player cursing back or simply stepping onto the field inappropriately.

                              • Yeah, I saw the OU dude go ballistic, and then a T called, and then OU shooting freethrows.

                                thus the confusion.
