Say what you want, but at least they tried to get the ball into the end zone and it paid off.
Credit to them. They played to win this game. We played not to lose. The result was predictable.
We had the game won THREE TIMES, and all 3 times we chose to give it back.
They did nothing to take it back. We HANDED it to them because we were too pussified to play aggressively.
For all the mental mistakes the offense made early and the defense made late, the coaching staff's terrible, awful late game management lost the game. The players had the game under control, and the coaches took it from them.Last edited by Kstat; October 12, 2013, 08:18 PM.

Unbelievable, inexcusable, embarrassing; there aren't enough words in the English language to describe that shitfest.
I thought I was watching the Lions out there.
Where else have you seen TWO delay of game penalties, when you have TOs in your pocket, right before a huge FG attempt?Repugnant is the creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.

Had my say in the Michigan forum, but one last note after the post presser...
Lloyd Hoke said he was happy with the pooch punt that went sailing into the endzone- net 14 yards, "better (for Penn State) to start on the 20 than the 34".
I doubt i'll ever post in this thread again.

I actually agreed with the pooch punt call, but the punter blew it. The main problem is that the botched clock management took them out of field goal range. Even with that, the defense shouldn't have given up a TD in that situation.
The late-game offensive play-calling was beyond horrible though. And what happened on that blocked field goal? Seemed like a low kick to me, but I'm sure the O-line got pushed back as usual too. I thought the O-line was supposed to be bigger, badder, and stronger post-Rich Rod?
