I thought it was cool as well. My point was that it was a hollow achievement and rather silly considering Robinson was dogshit last season, and there's no way 3 million michigan fans cared enough to vote on this.

    • Michigan got a commitment from another 4-star for 2014. That's 6 in ESPN's top 150. Hoke keeps rolling along on the recruiting trail. The dividends will begin to pay off soon.
What I really like is he passed on ND, USC and Ohio State. Hoke is bringing them in for sure, though not sure how a big boy 6-7, 215-pound TE (wait till he fills out) like that would have fit into Kellys offense.

      • Look at Eifert last year.

        • Change in philosophy, better bigger players I guess. Kelly’s seems like he's going to run a more power focused offense after success doing it.

            • I know this is like a broken record but Michigan just landed another 4-star for 2014. This time, it's DE Lawrence Marshall. That makes 7 players ranked in ESPN's top 150.

              • This is the second time coach Brady Hoke has pulled in a former Buckeye recruit, and Spartan (Drake Harris) :-) joining five-star offensive lineman Kyle Kalis. Marshall decommitted from Ohio State in February. Again he had offers from Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and USC.

The Spartans were largely considered the favorite to land him.

                • He must have had too many stars and Dantoni softened on him since he wouldn't be able to coach him up.

                  • Dantonio will never admit it, but he has to be really missing RichRod. Another note - Wonder if his health is ok? Seriously he looked terrible at MSU's spring game, maybe he had the flu.

                    • He always looks sick so that would be hard to tell.

Jokes aside, I hope it's nothing serious.

                          • Spartans miss RichRod in much the same way the Wolverines miss John L. Smith.
