Well, that bad news should have been expected, honestly. I'd have questioned Burke's sanity had he chose to stay when he's damn near a lock for a lottery pick at this point.
Michigan should be fine in the long run. Albrecht looks like he has some real potential, and could step in as a distributor (though he obviously can't penetrate like Burke could). On top of that, Derrick Walton is a Top 10 PG recruit as well... so don't cry too much about the b-ball team.
Nice that The Drake changed his mind about playing for Little Brother. I wonder if he is going to play some hoops too?
Yeah that's pretty wild. Izzo got him to keep playing football when he wanted to just play basketball. Urban later convinced him to give up basketball all together and de-commit from MSU after he had a breakout season. Then he commits to UofM.
Oh well.. teenagers are teenagers. He could be the best WR UofM has had in a long long time if he fulfills his commitment and his talent.
Rashean Mathis: "I'm an egg guy. Last year we didn't have (the omelet station). I didn't complain, but I was dying inside."
I'm extremely excited to see how Derrick Green looks in the fall, who do you think will realistically be ahead of him on the depth chart by the time game 1 rolls around?
Fitz, depending on his recovery. Rawls, if he continues to improve. But I don't think anyone will keep him on the bench for long. Probably depend on his ability to protect the QB. Don't want to get Devin killed because a freshman didn't pickup the blitz.
I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.
cbssports.com is saying that sources are telling them that McGary and GR3 are staying.
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR
Makes sense for both of them to stay. McGary given another year and building off his tourney showing would be a near lock for a lottery pick. GR3 needs to show more period.
