Even as a M fan, enjoyed a good game until the let down on that last series.
Passenger on the Lions bandwagon since 1969.

6 plays for 290 of the 441 yards. Not including the punt return

      Sounds like the Lions secondary.
Looked like the Lions secondary, them and Nebraska playing the Cover Who defense where nobody covered the middle of the field.

Reverse for me. Never had more than one good blooming onion out here. And it was probably the first one I ate years ago. Just a grease pit now. And that dip they serve it with, yak.

The spicy sweet dip served with the C.S. on the other hand....

Ah no, it's not meaningless. I wanted UM to win that game. By your logic all games are essentially meaningless. ...you know, in the grand scheme of things.

              • Oh yeah, and that was the stupidest first down measurement I've ever seen. I've never seen a measurement so obvious get called wrong like that in my life.

Clowney fixed it on the next play though.

                  • If its not a playoff game, it's meaningless. I still have a soft spot for the rose bowl, but other than that, this was a glorified exhibition game.

If it cant lead to a championship, it means nothing. Tomrrow I forget this game ever happened and it's wait till next fall.

                    • I'll forget a championship game the day it happens, but motherfuckers, if I'm watching a game, it's for a reason, therefore, it ain't meaningless.

                        • Clowney's no joke but nobody bothered to block him on that play and Lewan pretty much handled him all day.

                          • That was silly blocking. Lewand went inside to hit the DT and the TE went out into the secondary. Ah, whose job was it to block the most fearsome DE in the game?

                              The only logical explanation is:
I'm about to die and this is my Jacob's Ladder

He's remember today for the big hit, but like you say its not like he beat anyone - nobody blocked him? Missed assignment? Smith was a tackling dummy who is 5-6 and Clowney is 6-7.

SC was the more talented team by far. Good game call by Borges, Gardner missed a few passes. Mattison's lack of talent on that side of the ball had to blitz more than he wanted to get any pressure on the QB - Will get better there. I like Hokes willingness to gamble, trickeration almost pulled it out.
