"Of course you did" . . . I have never been a fan of SEC teams. I pull for Michigan in any of their bowl games.

    • It's not a slight to you Bim. It's a slight to all sports media and as a result most sports fans.

        • Delano Hill and David Dawson (again) of Cass Tech both commit to the Wolverines. Hill was committed to Iowa, but flipped after getting a Michigan offer last week.

          • I guess this doesn't have anything directly to do with Michigan anymore but they had the Arizona/Nevada bowl game on at the gym and I saw two Zona players throwing punches at each other on the sidelines. I don't think RR sent either to the locker room.

            • Butler just knocked off Indiana. Michigan moves up to #2 if they can beat WVU tonight.

              • If you are playing one game, one of the LAST coaches you want to see on the opposite sideline is Brad Stevens.

                • Nice win! 81-66 WOLVERINES!

27 points, 6 boards and 8 assists for Burke.

25 for Tim (4-8 from 3, after being 3 for his last 13).

Jon Horford was on the bench at the end of the game, with a big pack of ice on his knee. He went down awkwardly in the first half and couldn't put any weight on his leg.

I'm trying to be optimistic and guess that they would have taken him to a hospital, if he'd torn a ligament

                  • TBH, UM looked bored in that 2nd half.

                    • UofM is very very very good. I did not expect them to be quite this good but I've been blown away with how good they are when I've seen them.

This is a special season for you guys. Savior it.

I gotta wonder how long it is before a powerhouse school offers Brad Stevens a boat load of money that Butler could never match.

Bad that they were suspended. Good that Hoke doesn't let them slide on things.

Pretty sure that's already happened, depending on what you call a powerhouse. It'll probably be pretty tough, being born and raised in Indy. He makes pretty decent money in a good city and is locked up for a long time.

                            • Stevens likes where he's at in his career. I won't say he won't take the jump to a higher school at some point, but it's going to have to be a really sweet deal.

                              • When you keep delivering post season runs like he has and wins like the one against Indiana, Butler's going to forever be happy/grateful. Heading to a major program puts you in the spotlight of having to win or compete for national championships every year. The expectations of him at a major program would be astronomical.

Of course, the chance to strike while the iron is hot and set your family up for life is hard to say no to, but he's already making $1M a year, and that goes a long way in Indy. I can totally see him being the Midwest Mark Few.
