The Big Ten needs coaches like him; people who have absolutely no shame, and are willing to whine, bitch, complain, and stink up the airwaves to get whatever he wants.

That's the game the SEC has really dominated for years; if the Big Ten (or anyone else) wants to challenge their dominance, they are going to need to be just as shameless and amoral.

Big game for Michigan today, playing at Arkansas. The hogs are 13-1 at home and do have 1 win against a Top 20 team this year. They've got a couple of good shot-blockers and are led in scoring by a freshman named B.J. Young.

Let's hope that B.J. sucks today....

Historical Note: Michigan played and lost at Arkansas in CBS' first college hoops broadcast in 1981. I remember watching it. Mike McGee!

Damn. That sucked. Michigan was down 20 in the first half after Arkansas started the game making their first 11 shots. Still, we come back and had a chance to tie or win with a buzzer-beater. Trey Burke took an NBA distance 3 that went halfway down before coming back out. 66-64, hogs.

Beilein killed it when he called that timeout late when Trey Burke had a wide open lane to tie the game.

sick and tired of losing to inferior teams on the road because THJR decided not to show up.

Timmy seemed pretty passive on offense. He made some nice passes and got some defensive boards but hung out in the corner too much on O.

I think it looks like if a player is allowed to be physical with him and he's not getting calls, he just checks out. I think he only took 2 shots in the 2nd half.

He's not passive. His shot selection just sucks. He's completely gone away from his mid range game and started chucking bad threes.

Might explain a little bit why Michigan's offense struggled so much against the A-gap blitz in that game. When your center has a severed tendon in his foot, he doesn't pick up blitzers very well.

He did it because it was his last game in college. Still, just amazing.

I doubt any player would have done that if the coach was Dick Rod... oh wait, that scenario would never happen since Dick Rod couldn't get us a win against OiHO let alone a BCS game.
