      • Definitely some vote trading going on.

        • Your entire argument is based on the premise that Michigan doesn't deserve to go to the sugar bowl, because Sparty is "much better."

That's a flawed premise borne completely out of the Sparty chip.

You get more money for a BCS game... how could there not be?

              • VT is in the sugar bowl. I think the question of "deserving" being how you get in is settled with that no?

                • There were a ton of ballots that made no sense. Several of the Harris pollsters put Oklahoma State at #6, behind even Houston. One pollster put Clemson 13 spots BEHIND Virginia Tech despite the fact that Clemson obliterated Virginia Tech not once but TWICE.

The polls are idiotic. Using them to determine the postseason is insanity. But again, we already knew this years ago. The system won't change until the people in positions of power in college football decide they want to change it.

The unibomber was a libertarian but that doesn't mean ULF is a bomber

But any dig on Drew Sharp is appreciated.

The schools in the Big Ten share their bowl revenue. I know the team that goes takes more of it to cover for travel costs, etc. but everyone in the Big Ten gets more money if ANY Big Ten school is the 2nd entry in the BCS.

Computers are only as good as the logic they are programed with.

And I hope UofM and OSU and every other B1G TE2 school wins their bowl games.

And the rules placed upon them. The BcS required all the formulas to eliminate any use of margin of victory to avoid teams intentionally running up the score to make the computers happy. So all of the computer forumlas are somewhat handicapped in that they can't even look at how much a team won or lost by. Losing by 1 is the same as losing by 80.

                              • Count me as a Spartan who doesn't give a shit. In my opinion, shut your pie hole, go beat Georgia and win a bowl game for the first time in a long time, then go to the Rose Bowl next year.
