We have another potential 20-win season and 1-2 NCAA tournament wins. We're past the point where that's "special."
I want a big 10 title and a run at the final 4. We need one more elite player for that. We our best recruiting class in the last 10 years coming this fall. If Hardaway is still on the team, we could be really dangerous.
I think for this year's squad, getting to the Sweet 16 would be special.
We have not been there since 1994.
That is a HUGE step in the right direction and another week of national exposure will help in recruiting (for 2014). It is also the launching pad for next year's team.
We have to remember that most 15 & 16 year olds, who are our recruiting targets at this point (since we are at least at this time filled for 2013) did not grow up in a time that Michigan was on the map for basketball. There have been hardly any tourney appearances and very few Wolverines in the NBA. We still need more exposure but that is coming. It's obvious that we are on the rise but we need to continue with that progression.
Having a Sweet 16 year in a season where there is no NBA could really pay off well.

The replay from one side of the field looking down the goal line showed that he was short. The replay from the other side looking down the goal line showed that he was in.

Hopefully Greg Mattison learned his lesson not to bring a knife to a gunfight. Coordinators on both teams saved their best stuff for this game except him.
Wow, whoooo! I haven't been that nervous in years, what a great win! Was hoping for a blowout, but then had Troy Smith flashbacks all fucking game!!!!!! Damn! A loss would have been devastating to this very good year. A close game hurts osu even more though! :-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D
