There have been Internet polls in the past where the Michigan fight song and uniform have been voted the best in the country. I became a Michigan fan just because I turned on the television one day when I was nine, and they were playing Ohio State. Don't like MSU because they aren't U-M, and so many of their fans whined through the years. I don't like all U-M fans, but then I then I realize that fans aren't part of one monolithic group - except Buckeye fans, who all suck. Then again, apparently every fan of the Spartans was or is an MSU student. There's no such thing as a Walmart Spartan.

I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.
My daughter (7th grade) was practicing her saxophone this afternoon and out of her room I heard The Victors. I don't remember ever seeing the Michigan State fight song in a band book.
The Michigan fight song is known throughout the country. It is probably only second to Notre Dame's.
Other than fans of a certain school or a conference there are very few fight songs that most people would recognize.
I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

There was a vote somewhere not too long ago. M fight song #1, ND #2.
