I guess my response to this is,"So What"?

Once he was hired, it didn't matter who wanted him and who didn't. He had the job, all he had to do to keep it was do it well.

The division may have helped get him fired, but I think that was more a result of his performance on and off of the field.

The "house divided" may make the next hire more difficult, but I doubt it. Hell, there are alums and boosters that want Sabin fired in Alabama, Miles fired at LSU and just about every coach at every university with a football program fired.

It's not a big deal.

The "house divided" is what led to Rodriguez being the man hired to begin with. It's what led to one group of people telling a recruit that everything was good to go, then another group pulling strings in admissions to have the recruit declared ineligible for enrollment. If you think the warring factions in Ann Arbor right now are just like in Alabama and LSU... I suppose I don't have any evidence to say otherwise. I don't have any information about what goes on in those schools.

But I don't think that's the case. I don't think any of those schools are having a power struggle like what is going on at the U-M right now.

And we're seeing it again now. History is repeating itself.

It's not a big deal if the school learned anything from the last time these factions butted heads. Sadly, it doesn't look like they have.

Luck going back to school really screwed us IMO. I don't think he wants the San Fran job and had the wonder kid went to the NFL Harbaugh couldve been on his way to Ann Arbor. Now everything points to him going back to Stanford. I never wouldve guessed that outcome after the Orange bowl.

He sure didn't sound like someone coming back, that's for sure.

Also, the ESPN ticker keeps saying harbaugh will "go to san francisco or stay in school" which makes me chuckle every time. Stay in school? He's the coach...
