"Of course, once he is fired, ESPN will claim they were right all along."

Not the slightest clue. Brandon needs to pull something out of his ass here.

It makes zero sense what is happening right now.
Is the idea to purposely delay until they have his successor ready to go? Thats all I can figure and even that doesn't make much sense.
I hope not because that would be exceedingly dumb.To be a professional means that you don't die. - Takeru "the Tsunami" Kobayashi

There seems to be some speculation that Brandon is doing the Businessman thing. If UM wanted to, they could open a can of worms; they could say the NCAA violations were a breach of contract, and seek to deny Rodriguez the buyout. According to a couple of sources on ESPN, Brandon may have been trying to persuade Rich to resign, a confrontation that will continue tomorrow. It's not my money, and I'm not about to say he's crazy for trying to recoup it.I made baseball as fun as doing your taxes!

Your likely right though.. there is some serious negotiations going on. Nothing else could explain the fact he isn't fired yet.Rashean Mathis: "I'm an egg guy. Last year we didn't have (the omelet station). I didn't complain, but I was dying inside."
