I'll certainly be pulling for State. Not only Big 10 > SEC, but perhaps a win that produces a 12-1 MSU team and a loss to Miss St for a 7-6 finish will help Brandon if make up his mind if he's still unsure.

Me too, I'll be rooting for little brother. Well not so much rooting for them, but rooting for the conference. I gotta think they'll get rolled pretty easily, though. I mean 7-5 Iowa rolled them, so what's a team like Bama capable of doing?

But that's why they play the game, I guess. Go Big Ten.

Alabama got rolled by 8-4 South Carolina too. They play worse than the sum of their parts.

This sentiment is exactly why I love the matchup for State. It will make big waves if they win and if they lose.. "it's alabama".. won't look so bad.

And honestly I don't think Bama has a great QB and their running game isn't better than Wisconsins. State is built to beat teams that rely on the running game.

Where I'm worried is if thier defense is as good as Iowas and Cousins stepping up or folding. Hard to say.

But what has me feeling good is that MSU has top notch special teams and has won a shit load of tight games this year. And what has me feeling even better is that MSU will be playing to show they are a legit BCS team.. Bama is disappointed to not be going back to the BCS.

I like MSU's chances overall when I don't listen to the "it's saban" "it's alabama" devil on my shoulder.
