Niffla, get used to it. That offense is very hard to keep a handle on the football. You get these ridiculously wide open plays and then you get bad turnovers on exchanges. It really puts an emphasis on having an excellent QB. Its maddening.

Exactly. Right now and for probably the rest of the season it is going to be if anything an advantage for the opposing team's defense.

But Juice Williams wasn't pulling those off to perfection two years ago and even halfway through the season last year. He was close to getting yanked for McGee. It takes a lot of time for that QB to get comfortable. That offense is totally dependent on a very good QB, I don;t think Threet is that.

The Big Ten is pretty weak this year and they say Michigan is going to have a good defense. The cupboard isn't bare, quit with the Lou Holtz sandbagging.

They recruit well every year, this Lou Holtz sandbagging is comical. Their schedule ensures that they should at least win 8 games.

DanO - Michigan has never had a real down year recruiting. Even their worst recruiting years are top 20. Their schedule is pretty weak. 8 wins should be easy for them. You guys sound like Lou Holtz pumping up Army.

by my count that's 10-2. They might lose to MSU or Illinois, but its at home so thats pretty doubtful. So if they underachieve they might go 8-4. It would be one thing if they were playing a tough schedule, Buts its not.

Next year we will be breaking in a new QB too. At least I hope someone can beat out Threet. The linebackers are too slow. Warren is the only legitimate corner. The O-line is young and inexperienced. It's going to take a while. Rodriguez is such a poor loser; I don't know if he'll be able to handle the next 2-3 years.

Yeah its pretty doubtful they are going to get to 8 wins, but they are underperforming in my opinion. You can't predict turnovers, that been their big killer this year.

The Notre Dame game was the only loss that was directly linked to turnovers. Michigan defeated Wisconsin despite 5 turnovers. Illinois dominated both sides of the ball. They're a young, erratic team that is lacking talent and experience at QB, OL, S, and LB. It's growing pains.
