I'd have done the same thing. This defense has a habit of letting people make 3rd and longs. 46 yarder in these conditions.
All in all, once again turnovers keep us too close for comfort. Haven't had much trouble on either side for the most part. Purdue has done well on denard.
Also Kerrigan is a fricking beast. One of the best players in the Big 10 easily.

At the end of last season, I would tell people Michigan's biggest problem was RichRod's offense worked really well in the Big East where the defenders are slower and dumber, but couldn't survive in the Big Ten where linebackers are as fast as running backs; you mishandle the ball a split second and they're on you. Then Robinson had that great start non-conference and I thought, maybe not. But the guy does you no good with all of his yardage if he's going to spit it up and give up points on turnovers.Last edited by gjdodger; November 13, 2010, 01:26 PM.I made baseball as fun as doing your taxes!

There is a train of thought that if you have points on the board you don't take them off (unless doing so gives you 4 cracks from the 1 like the Lions had). That same train of thought applies to the defense, if you can take a team out of scoring position - you do it. You make that offense get back in scoring position.

I think it's time to get tate out there though. DRob has just been terrible. He's playing like he did against MSU.Last edited by LionsWolverines; November 13, 2010, 01:59 PM.

Yeah that was a typo, I meant 10. I was saying they'd get 5 on 3rd anyway, and possibly more.
And what is up with this game, everyone has just started sucking. Tate misses the easiest of first down passes to V Smith.Last edited by LionsWolverines; November 13, 2010, 02:02 PM.
