This may be too simplistic, but the transition from RR's offensive system to Meyer's wouldn't be a stretch.

I just realized Meyer's initials are UM.

I don't care really who gets the job...hell, if RR would have brought even a little defensive and ST focus with him, I wouldn't mind him staying.

- Sidebar: Every aspect of UM's special teams blows the purple knobs of goats....kickoffs, punts, returns, and the FG unit is literally bottom of the fucking college football barrel. PATs are not even a given.

I'm not certain what kind of coach Harbaugh is...I only know I like him because I watched him do good things as a QB for UM, and that Stanford is no longer a doormat in the Pac10...so that counts for something in my book.

Despite the thick pile of rap sheets, has anybody accused Meyer of actually recruiting thugs? That tag was hung on RichRod; PacMan and Henry turned out to be criminals afterward but there were a couple of other guys other schools wouldn't touch that went to UWV, and then there was the corner from Florida who Michigan academics rejected.

Whether he's lost some control or recruited some bad apples or it's just an anamoly, it's the perception that's the thing. I just don't know if UM would open themselves up to that type of criticism.

I would take Urban Meyer in a heartbeat but not over Harbaugh. I really like what Jimmy can bring to the table with his attitude. I think Tressel would actually be a little affraid to piss him off..

UM's compliance director "resigns" to take the same job at South Carolina. The AD wrote her a letter scolding her for not going to RichRod when, after 18 months, the coaches wouldn't answer her questions about what they were doing. I guess she figures no one's going to order her to harass Spurrier.
