The problem was just as much U-M's administration as it was Rodriguez. They willingly looked the other way and even intentionally mucked up paperwork to try and cover the trail.

Demens was a 3 star
Isaiah Bell 3*
Mike Jones 3*
Brandin Hawthorne 3*

All of 'em not playing a fucking down.

The number one job for a winning coach is to acquire and develop TALENT. This is especially true at the college level where you got four years to work with these guys.

Rich Rod (outside of Denard, and maybe Mike Martin) has utterly failed in this basic duty.

Until U-M does something about that defense, they're never going to do better than 7 or 8 wins... and that's being generous.

I have no beef with the Spread Offense... but that 3-3-5 Defense shit is worthless in the Big Ten. Too many big, power teams to go that small as a base set.

Well, not to mention the talent on that defense is pretty much horrible.
