Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

  • If Carr had his way, we'd be talking about Coach English.

    Does that inspire confidence, dodger?

      • The U-M trainwreck was coming for a while.

There was no one that the administration could agree on as the successor to Carr.

Carr felt he deserved the right to name his successor (English); Martin wanted nothing to do with English, and preferred someone else with Michigan ties (Miles). A small segment wanted to coax another option (Harbaugh).

Carr hated Miles. Others felt that Harbaugh was for all intents and purposes the Benedict Arnold of the Maize and Blue nation. Martin and his sect felt that English was a shitty coordinator that would make an equally shitty coach.

In the end, they wound up getting a coach none of them liked.

                    • Does anyone think it would be an upset if Michigan loses to UConn? ESPN seems to think it would be.

SportsCenter highlighted Michigan as a team that was on "upset alert".

It looks like both of my teams have tough challenges today.(PURDUE @ ND, UConn @ Mich)
I will always like Michigan, even though I'm going to Purdue! Go Blue!

Probably they meant that by Michigan upsetting UConn.
