  • he certainly challenged the play....

They didnt even need to block on those last few throws. Just quick outs work just fine against MSU.

Its not that hard to move the ball against this defense. Just make them cover.

Tate's thrown the ball 16 times, and MSU has 5 sacks. By my count, that's at least 21 called passes.

The Wolvie's have run the ball 21 times, which includes sacks.

So it appears they are throwing the ball more than running.

      • Hey threw deep three plays in a row. Must have gotten a td out of it. Right kstat? It's that simple right?

MSU's defense did a great job of forcing Minor to fall down with nobody around him.

Also did a great job on that first play of forcing the ball to go wide of a receiver that clearly had his man beaten for 40 or 50 yards.

            • I'm not saying MSU didnt play better in this game. I'm saying U-M put themselves in a position to lose.

When a team is giving up a ton of yards in the secondary, and stacks 9 near the line of scrimmage, you're an idiot if you keep running.

              • Like I said, easy. Just keep throwing the fucking ball.

                    • if U-M wins the toss, they should let MSU have the ball first. Forcier is gassed.

                      • I was just about to post that they should hook an oxygen tank up to Forcier. He looked like he was ready to collapse once he got it down to the 12.

                        • Of course, MSU's defense has to be tired as well.

                          Who's better conditioned? We'll see.

Of course they should let MSU have the ball first. That way they know what they need to do to win.

                            • Well, if nothing else, it shows what an idiot Rich Rod was for keeping his team down the first 3 1/2 quarters.

They could have scored 40+ on this garbage secondary. They got the loss the deserved.

Maybe the next time they face a team that dares them to throw the ball, theyll actually throw it.

It really should never have come down to this.

                              • Crap. I didn't think that Michigan would win but once they tied it, I really hoped they would.
