For a while it seemed like I stopped watching comedies but I like How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, Modern Family, Cougar Town (not great but weirdly funny), Big Bang Theory, The Office, and Outsourced (also not great but seeing a sitcom based in India on TV is kind of cool).

I'm with you on all of them 'cept Rules of Engagement and Big Bang Theory. I like both of those shows, but I always seem to have DVR scheduling conflicts when they're on so they lose out. I've only seen a handful of episodes from them.
The rest, I watch regularly.
Yeah, Outsourced could be better but I do dig the Indian aspect of it. Particularly after working closely with an offshore Indian team for a few years. I think the Indian actors they've cast are really good and very likable.#birdsarentreal

I've seen interviews with the cast of Outsourced and three of the actors (Mowdry, Gupta, and Raj) have American accents, Asha has a British accent, and Manmeet has an Australian accent.
Actually, The Office and Outsourced both lose scheduling conflicts for me too (Fringe, CSI, and Nikita) but I end up watching them online. Normally I don't like to do that but with sitcoms it's not so bad.

Detroit 1-8-7 has been canceled. As it should be, what a terrible show, though I watched it b/c its in Detroit that's all. ABC did not order the 4 extra episodes to give Detroit 1-8-7 a full season, and are premiering a new medical drama (ugh) when Detroit concludes it's 18 episode run.
