  • Shelley Long is going to play Claire and Mitchell's Mom (Jay's ex) on that show. I'm looking forward to that.

    • In my opinion, the last 2 episodes of How I Met Your Mother have not been good. Most disappointing. I like Robin and Barney as a couple but I'm thinking it's ruining the show.

      • Yeah I haven't enjoyed it as much lately, either. But truthfully, that show has always been a bit uneven like that.

I agree romster. Part of what made that show funny was Barney's sexual escapades. I did lol at Marshall's video emails though.

I'll have to check out these other shows to see what the buzz is about.

                • Yeah, I haven't loved HIMYM that much this season but I did like the "sexless inn keeper". The poems were good.

But I agree that part of the appeal of the show was Barney's insensitivity and shallowness.

                  • I dvr'd the first three episodes of Trauma & finally watched the first yesterday. Looks pretty good and reminded me of my all time favorite "The Shield" with their episode within an episode strategy.

Sounds like I need to at least check out Modern Family.

                    • I finally saw the wedding episode of The Office. It was really good. The dance was pretty good. I thought the best part of the dance was Oscar's moves down the aisle.

After watching it I had to look up the original dance on YouTube and I have to admit, that was pretty entertaining too. Personally, I don't think I would want to be involved in something like that (maybe I'm too old-fashioned when it comes to weddings) but the original dance and The Office version were fun to watch.

Not that I enjoy big weddings. Quite the opposite. I'm actually terrified of having to go through with it at some point in my life. I just thought seeing Pam and Jim together on the boat was a really nice way to do it. They seemed content and happy and at peace.

Big Brother winner spends prize money on pills, gets arrested

Adam Jasinski, the guy who won CBS' reality show Big Brother last year (Big Brother 9), just got arrested for using his prize money on something he shouldn't have.

He used the $500,000 to buy a bunch of oxycodone pills and was arrested Saturday in Boston for trying to resell them. Spending a half mil on pills and then reselling them? This sounds like the worst business decision ever.

He tried to sell 2000 of them that were stuffed in a sock, and when the police approached him about it, he fought with them and threw the sock full of pills underneath a car. Bad move. Everyone knows that when you have a sock filled with drugs you're supposed to throw it down the sewer, not under a parked car. That's Oxycodone 101. He's been buying and reselling thousands of pills since he won the show.

Like his time on Big Brother, Jasinski is now going to be watched 24 hours a day, though in a completely different way.

Let's analyze, shall we? Is it a fear of getting up in front of a group of people?
