Yeah man. There's a lot of similarities to the show and our f'ed up world history. Its like a roller coaster ride of madness and emotional torture. The acting is top notch.

I watched the first episode of True Detective S3 last night. I like the cast and it seems pretty good.

Even if S3 is 75% of S1 -- would still be one of the best shows on television.

Anything to fucking cleanse the palette of S2 or at least try.
