Not bad. I'll watch a few more to see how it plays out.
    Looking forward to that one,

    • Finished the first season of Narcos. I've always known the name but its definitely a good show to present both sides of the story. Pablo Escobar vs Everyone.

I'm not sure how true to life everything is but it's entertaining that's for sure.

      • I watched the first episode of Firefly last night. I can see why everyone liked it, and I'm sure I'll be just as upset when I reach the end of the series and know there's not more to watch.

Too bad Netflix couldn't have picked it up and continued the story. Was Netflix around then?

          • I don't think they were...well, at least not in the "let's make original series" capacity.

I just wish I didn't binge watch it... imagine the anticipation if you had to wait each week for a new episode... or even a year after the cliffhanger of season 3 ending.
I'm glad we binged watched. After the end of each episode, Sue and I would look at each other to decide if we wanted to continue or do something else. I've re-watched several episodes since we finished.

Walt collapsed at the end, and the assumption was that he died, but his eyes were never closed. I felt this could leave the door open for a continuation, or a movie down the road. He could have been saved by the arriving cops, convicted, thrown in prison, escaped or paroled, and while out, built a new empire. <<< unlikely, but if it comes to pass, you heard it here first.

I've watched a few Better Call Saul episodes.

              • We were the same way during the first 2 years. We stopped watching at one point for several years until we started again. Then all of the sudden for me Breaking Bad just got f'ing incredible.

I hope they don't do some shitty movie or another season but hypothetically they could with Jessie starting everything up or something along those lines. Of course I thought the Entourage movie was pretty good after balking at the idea.

                • Watched the 3rd episode of "Man In The High Castle".

The premise behind the show is really good but through 3 episodes it's just average. I can't put my finger on what I don't like. I think it's the lack of a cast and really connecting with any of the characters. I'll keep watching it just because of the overall plot but I can see it possibly going in the way of Lost and just getting.... well.. lost

                  Is anyone else watching it?

                  • I haven't seen it, but Alexa Davalos is in it. I first saw a trailer for "Man In The High Castle" months ago during the pre-trailers while seeing "Everest." The story definitely looked interesting.
Davalos has been a top 5 celebrity crush for me since I saw her in the underrated "Chronicles of Riddick."

She is also in "Defiance", "The Mist", and "Clash of the Titans." Random movies that are enjoyable. "The Mist", directed by Frank Darabont, is probably the best of the movies. That movie has characteristics of "The Walking Dead" when it was good (seasons 1-3). Darabont was obviously a creator of the "The Walking Dead" and had major influence for those early episodes.

We watched the first 2 episodes last night and really liked it. My wife described it as intense.

                        • I'd love to see this show have redemption. Season 1, 2, and 4 were amazing. The last season was not good. Please, bring back a great season of "Dexter", Showtime.

                          'Dexter' Returns!
Dexter returned this week, to everyone’s surprise, when the Dexter official Twitter account posted a cheeky Thanksgiving themed tweet.

                          • Last year I would have said no Dexter without Deb. But she is doing so great on Limitless (fantastic show BTW) that I am fine with a Debless Dexter.

the Jennifer Carpenter Deb is certainly awesome too ... She made watching "Dexter" worth it (plus the great narrative of seasons 1, 2, and 4 .... Dexter being a great lead.... and awesome villains!).
