Has anyone watched netflix Making a Murderer yet?

so much great TV... wish I had more time (with sports, movies, personal life, and work being consuming) to catch up on all of this.

Currently watching one episode whenever I can of "Shameless", "The Crown", and "Stranger Things."
"The Crown".... man, why do all of the TV Series with great writing, cinematography, and flawless acting have to be kind of boring? ... hopefully the plot picks up.

I just finished watching a couple of TBS' comedies. Wrecked and People of Earth.

I am sure that they are not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed them.


People of Earth is a show about a group of people that were abducted by aliens and the aliens that abducted them. It was created by Conan O'Brien and has some funny stuff.

Wrecked is a spoof on lost and is more absurd, if you can be more absurd than a comedy about alien abduction, but it has some laugh out loud funny shit.

Is anyone watching Colony? My wife won't watch it with me since she's not into the whole dystopian thing (she won't watch Man in the High Tower either) but I have been enjoying it.

I guess it depends on your sense of humor. I don't know about a 1-10, but after I watched the pilot I wanted to see more and then I ended up watching the whole season in a couple of days. There is some good stuff in it. Good acting, quirky characters, some subtle and not so subtle humor and a lot of grins... I'm looking forward to the next season.

What would you say that gives it? 8 or so?

I think you should invest a half hour and see what you think.

I haven't seen Colony. I am watching the second season of The Man in the High Castle. I love the idea of it but I'm still not sure if I really like it or not.

I liked the first season of Man in the High Castle and was pleased with the way it ended so I haven't watched the second season.

MIHC is pretty good. Only issue I had with it was caring about any scene Joe Blake or Frank were in. The trade minister and oppengrupenfuhrer dominate everyscene they are in. Even the trinket shop owner. Ya, I just don't buy into Blake enough. Not sure what it is. Not sure if anyone has mentioned the Leftovers, but season 1 was pretty supreme. Haven't checked out season 2; same for MIHC. Just started downtown Abby and it is pretty great... wife hates it... same woman who doesn't bite at mockumentary humor, but somehow picks up Jimmie Schmidt, 30 rock, project mindy... never mind. All clear now.

Agreed about Joe Blake! I just don't really like his character at all. I'm starting to like Frank more but they've always both been annoying.
