That's great from the craativity standpoint. I hope they can keep the standards high. I looked on imdb and the budget for year 1 was 100 mil. That's absurd for a tv show!

Well the cast cost might come down a bit next season.

Very subtle. It's got a big cast and done by the same company that makes GoT. Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to suggest that some people might not have happy endings.

Has anyone seen the Netflix show / documentary "Making a Murderer"? Its a true story. I'm 4 episodes in and I'm horrified at the shit I'm watching. Never seen anything like this

Making a Murderer is REALLY good. It's addictive as shit. Try not to ready any spoilers if you can.

Watched the first episode of the new Netflix series The White Rabbit Project starring the supporting cast from Myth Busters and it was awful. Bunch of over dramatized attempts at humor that just fall flat. I hope it improves but I don't have much hope for this one.

Season 4 of "Shameless" was incredible.
Love the character arcs of Lipp, Fiona, and surprisingly Mickey.
Everything that Carl says is golden. A darker William H Macy (Frank) is terrifying/ great realism.
Kev, V, and Scheila are also fun characters.

Good stuff.

I also ran through Vikings. I thought it was a more generic version of game of thrones until this latest season. Man did it get good!

Friend suggested I watch "The OA".

I did.

Stylistically some pretty cool things. Also, some interesting undertones that never really unearth. Strong musical score.

Never heard of the one before. I might give it a go. The user rating were pretty decent on imdb.

I have heard from a couple people and read a few reviews. It's high concept and interesting. But that is basically where it ends.

A Netflix show I would recommend would be the travelers. Cool sci-fi concept with out being too sci-fi and it holds up well throughout the season.
