Still hate the Cohen intro, but must've went that route because it has changed throughout the season -- Maybe Cohen agreed that he'd record variations for the season as it progressed.

I'm starting to not like Vince Vaughen in this. I like him as an actor but he hasn't been that good with the role

It is tough just because Woody and his family dynamic was pretty much amazing in S1. It is hard to enjoy those Jordan/Frank scenes as much as the others; especially in a packed episode like E5.

Since I'm running out of TV Shows to corrupt my brain with I started Ray Donovan. I wasn't a huge fan of the leads acting at first but this has turned into a pretty good show. Done with season 1 and looking forward to season 2.

Well I guessed right but I didn't know how the killer fit in. True Detective Season 2 wasn't as good as season 1 but it was still good.

I think what hurts Season 2 is a combination of how the expectations were so high and HBO rushing Pizzolatto to come out with something quickly/ on time.
Season 1 was perfect and it would be hard for anything to be better.
"True Detective" is an original tv show (not based on a book or comic) from what I know... IDK if Pizzolatta was ready to start production on Season 2. Yea, it got held back a couple months, but was this the idea that Pizzolatta wanted? OR did the studio have too much say...

Even GoT has "lesser" seasons (season 1, season 2, and season 5).... True Detective will hopefully be fine going forward.

Going forward, I'm interested to see how the seasons tie in. That is always fun.

Yeah man I agree with you on how they'll tie in together. Hopefully somewhere down the road they have little references or something like that.

If you look at the story as a whole, I think season 2 was excellent. I just don't think it was put together as well as it could have. I also don't think the cast was as good as it could have been.

Not to spoil anything, but season 5 was perfect and it was a satisfactory ending to me...
Now it's back like "Toy Story."

I hope it doesn't lose quality, that's all.
