I forgot to mention "Family Guy" as one of the shows I watch. I laughed so hard at the "Bird is the Word" and Peter singing it all the time and dancing I had tears coming out of my eyes.

I am a bit disappointed in "The Office" this year. The first episode was good, but since then I have no idea where things are going. The whole Jan/baby thing is going nowhere and the tension between Micheal and the HR person is driving me crazy along with the teasing of Pam/Jim. The whole Angela thing is getting old as well. The scripts seem stale for some reason. I did laugh hard at the "astird" for the girls name though on last weeks episode.

Heroes is really getting good and I don't think I have been disappointed in an episode so far. It's only going to get better now (if it can) with papa Petrellli. I do wish someone would knock some sense into Claire though. She has an attitude problem. I want to know where I can get those powers like that one guy had to make women keep their mouths shut if I don't want to listen

How I Met Your Mother is still funny. The thing with the future Barney had me laughing hard especially when he was dressed up and turned down that 31 year old cause she wasn't in her 20s. This last episode was a character growth episode. Normally I don't like those kind, but I enjoyed it even though it was more serious than funny.

The Shield just kicks ass. Too bad this is the last season. I will be sad to see it end but the episodes have all kept my attention from start to finish.

So how have you people been enjoying your television season so far?

I disagree on The Office. I'm still enjoying it. Heroes still has me hooked.

Barney is freaking awesome on HIMYM, though this week's episode didn't have as many laughs as last week.

Trying to think of anything else noteworthy....

I haven't watched this week's episode on the DVR yet, but True Blood has been really good. Along with Entourage and Californication.

          Cute pic Deb.

I'm 2 episodes behind on Heroes and haven't watched this week's HIMYM yet. Also on the DVR is the first Storm Chasers of the season which I'm excited about.

Thanks, Rom. I saw it in a catalog and connected with it right away. My dog would certainly go to any length to get HIS tennis ball, too!

One of my favorite shows "The Shield" will come to a close this coming Tuesday with its series final. What a nice roller coaster ride of a season this year. I can't wait to see what the final has in store. For anyone who hasn't seen it, great show, sad to see it end.

I hate watching some new shows and just can't seem to get interested in them.

                TV Shows...

House is still my favorite show over the last few years.

The Mentalist was pretty good...only seen a couple shows though.

NCIS I now like more than CSI, which just started to get too wierd over the last couple seasons.

Big Bang Theory is probably my favorite comedy show.

Cable shows...Ace of Cakes on the Food Network is good, and I do like Alton Brown (Good Eats).

All I can think of at the moment...

House and Bones are two of my favorites. Still watching Life and Heroes. Waiting for Lost and 24. (HHmmm all one word titles???)

I've took up watching 'Ghost Hunters' 'Ghost Hunters International' and 'Destination Truth' during the writers strike.

My new favorite is 'Ghost Adventures' on the travel channel. It is extremely intense and they catch some freaky stuff with their cameras. I don't know if I could be locked in some of the places they go to! (even though I want to see a ghost! )

The wife and I watch ' Biggest Loser' together. It has helped inspire her to loose 80 + lbs since Feb.

She has put a lot of work into it. Being disabled and having COPD, it took watching the show for her to realize she could do it, and once she sets her mind to it, there is no stopping her!

She started dieting in Feb, and then we figured out a walking program for her. She pushed Bella in a stroller (she needed something to hold onto, and Bella enjoyed the ride) around the outskirts of a local plazas parking lot - 3/4 of a mile per lap.

In October we joined a gym and she flies pretty good on the tread mills and gliders! She now walks around without the aid of her cane!

                            Great inspirational story SHO.

Tuesday nights are boring as far as TV goes since "The Shield" ended a couple weeks ago. Lost looks like it will be starting back up again in mid to late January.

I watched "The Pick Up Artist" on VH1 this year. It was alright. It kind of hit home since I am a 42 year old male with no clue on how to go about picking up women but it was pretty fun to watch.

One of my "guilty pleasures" is to watch "The Jerry Springer Show". I don't know why, but when I get a chance to see it, I like watching it. I just have a hard time believing that there are people out there like that. It is fake isn't it? Say it is, please.

SnowMeiser: Whether or not Springer is fake, I don't know. Some of it probably is, but I personally knew someone who was on it once and the morning after the taping, he was not a happy camper (wife ditched him for her ex-hubby who had just gotten out of jail)...sounds like a Springer show all right. So I guess I can say that at the very least, some of it is real.

As far as the writer strike that was mentioned earlier, I'm not really for people striking, unless they're really getting the shaft...as far as the writers go, I have no idea. What it did show me however was that virtually NOBODY in Hollywood has any kind of creative talent at all cause when the writers striked, the shows stopped...even the supposed funny guys like Leno, Letterman, Conan, etc...if they're supposed to be funny, shouldn't they write their own jokes?

Anyone watch 30 Rock? It's definitely at the top of my must see list. That show is always good for some LOL lines:

"We had a falling out over the Jerry Garcia stamp. I mean, If I wanted to lick a hippie I'd just return Joan Baez's phone calls." - Jack, about the Postmaster General

We haven't really discussed Survivor this season. I was happy with last night's elimination but think they should have picked the other person in that alliance instead. (Being intentionally vague so as not to spoil it for DVR'ers)

Sunday is the finale. I'd like to see Bob win most. But Sugar winning would be way cool. Probably doubtful though.
