I read that they'll only air three more episodes then won't come back till March.

That's one way of saving money with V! If you can't afford it, then just make 4 episodes, get some interest, and then make us wait til March!!!:x.

kinda like how the original mini-series worked out in the 80s (aaa the 80s, smile comes to my face) yea, after the first mini-series started, we had to wait about a year for The Final Battle, and then shortly after the weekly series started. seems like they like the little in between time for the V franchise. I loved that weekly series, it had a soap opera feel with a menu of pests and rodents, always made me hungry to watch that show.

Does anyone watch Arrested Development? That show is funny as shit! I'm only halfway thru the 1st season but its pretty good.

The outcome of Survivor was disappointing. The jury was very strange. I guess they took being voted out too personally or something. I don't buy the "riding someone else's coat tails is a valid strategy" argument. She didn't outwit nor outplay him. This isn't "Survivor of the Nicest."

The upcoming season should be fun! But I would really like it if Fairplay was NOT invited. I'm really over that guy.

I agree, Deb. Very disappointing. I hated Russell at the beginning, but he made the show. It was probably th best Survivor in years because of him. I thought he would win. I also thought he had a good idea that he would not win before the votes were counted because he looked pretty upset before the count. He must have polled the jury before the show last night...?

Agree totally. One of the best seasons for sure.

Yep yep. Great season because of Russell and he should've won. He controlled the game the entire time. But, it's also been an interesting study in human behavior. To win, you have to make it to the end AND get the support of the people you had a hand in voting off. I saw an interview with Jaison where he said Russell played to get to the final but he did not play to win.

It appears the jury members are not capable of objectively deciding who should win. Maybe we'd all be the same way if we played the game.

Russell should have won. Normally the jury doesn't hold playing hard against people, so long as they embrace it. I think Russell's mistake was being a really bad winner. He didn't just vote people off. He voted them off and told em about it. No one likes that.

It was sad to see him crying though.

Final season of LOST kicks up on February 2nd. I'm looking forward to it.

This season will test my theory of Lost. It's an every other year show. Last year sucked major a$$ so this year they better make up for it. It was way too confusing.

You have to be careful with this though. If you wait too long the audience will leave. Same thing happened with Jericho, I loved that show in the beginning then the writers strike happened and I didnt get a new episode for about 5 months, by then I had moved on, tried to watch it a few more times, but it just wasnt the same.

While I don't like Cougar Town, I thought it was great to see Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox on the same screen again. Lisa was pretty good at playing mean too.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you about Jericho. The acting and scripts were well done IMHO. The writer's strike certainly boned the series as far as continuity goes and the fact that CBS didn't support it well. I loved how Hawkins kept you guessing as to where his loyalty lied up until revealing the bomb to Jake. Pitting the towns against each other was brilliant and was very believable given their situation. I wish that part had played out a little more though. Knocking off a couple of the main characters was interesting and let the viewer know that no one in that story was immune from harm. I'd have loved to see a cable network pick it up and continue the story. Supposedly 2 endings were shot, one where it was a cliffhanger and the one that aired which gave a sort of closure to the fans.

I need to stop watching TV as a public service since all of my favorite shows get canceled way too early.

I'm looking "forward" to the return of ABC's "Flash Forward" coming on March 18th

I have missed this show and hope it continues well after season 1.
