  • Yeah they were my favorite also -- although I only watched the past two weeks.

    • Survivor was good last night! Usually it takes me a few episodes in the new season before I can get into it, but for some reason I didn't have that problem last night. I think the cast is interesting and the way they set up the tribes is as well. Of course that Russell guy is a slimeball but he's been effective so far. I'm surprised they don't have rules against them destroying eachother's property.

      • I know. What a prick! Buring the dude's socks was his worst offense imo.

Fringe came right out of the gate with a GREAT episode.

        • I watched Survivor for the first time in HD and the landscape is pretty breathtaking. That said, I can't see myself continuing to watch it. It always feels the same to me.

I agree, rommy. I was thinking that I may stop watching Fringe just because I'm watching so many other shows but they came out swinging and now I'm dying to see the enxt episode. I knew that one character was dead.

          • I watched Survivor in HD for the first time as well and was duly impressed. HD is freaking awesome. I'm always late to the party. ;)

              • The season premiere of House was GREAT too. I really, really liked it.

                • Okay so the buzz on Flash Forward suckered me in to DVR'ing it. Watched about half of it this morning before work and it drew me in so I'm set to record the series now.

I really liked Modern Family - many laugh out loud moments. They need to use Ed O'Neil just a bit more though.

                  Cougartown needs work.

                  • A guy at work said he saw the first few minutes of Cougartown and was rolling. He also felt that Modern Family stunk. I've DVRd both and plan on watching them this weekend.

I was kind of surprised by Eastwick. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. And I'm probably one of the few guys out there that doesn't go ga-ga for Rebecca Romjin.

Mercy seems a little too cliche. She's a flawed individual with a heart of gold... blah blah blah. I'll watch one more episode.

                    • Yeah I didn't plan on watching Eastwick but I did and it wasn't terrible. I wish they had picked someone else for Jack Nicholson's character, though.

                      • I thought Modern Family was really good, as was Flash Forward. Hopefully these shows survive the season. The last ABC show that I was hooked on, The Nine, died quickly.

                          • Cougar Town does need work. It's a little too over the top. Modern Family was okay so I guess I'll give it a chance.

                            • The 2nd episode of Modern Family was a lot better. The "cool" dad was a lot funnier. I think the gay family members get kind of annoying although the scene where he stole the blocks and realized that it was filmed was pretty funny. I think Ed O'Neill is always great on TV.

And the woman that played Desiree was unbelievable. Her name is Brandy Ledford.

                              • Cougar Town was even worse the 2nd time. It's too bad because I wanted to see Courteney Cox-Arquette do well.
