Nice! Season 1 was amazing, season 2 was off the rails bad, and then season 3 got back close to the level of season 1. Jodie seems like she'd be a great fit. Looking forward to this.

Yellow Jackets was getting a ton of hype, so I gave it a go. I think it's pretty lame, personally.

I actually liked the entire cast and acting for season 2 but the story was off. Season 3 was better but nothing will ever come close to the original. It was lightening in a bottle. Leave it alone or take several years to come up with something that can compete. They rush things to keep the attention.

I'm not sure how many of you watched the first season of the new Perry Mason show on HBO, but I liked it a lot. I am a big fan of the original and enjoy the "prequil" that is the new show. In the first season Perry is a down and out private investigator and it shows how he becomes a lawyer and his first case.

I watched the first show of the second season last night. I think it will be as good of a season as the first.

I highly recommend it, but it is probably too "woke" for jaadam.

I basically binged watched it and it was fantastic. Yes there were some things that I had a distaste for in the writing but all in all it was great. I wish they'd stop there and let it be. They can't beat that.

I don’t mind some things but movies like the latest Thor was steaming shit. I’ll keep watching because I like how dark it is and the acting is on point. Really nice cast

The latest Thor movie was okay. Gorr is much better in the comics, but then his arc is like a year plus. Always fun seeing Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Her arc is pretty true to the comics with the caveat that it took like 6 issues before they revealed female Thor was Jane Foster.

I liked how they stayed true to the comics with her cancer (for the most part). I had the fear that they would cure her in the movie and that would have trivialized her struggle.

Also was happy that Foster made it to Valhalla, this leaves an opening to bring back Foster as Valkyrie in a future movie but not necessarily bring back Portman.

Hated Thor's costume in the movie. Very garish I thought. Overall it's a popcorn movie.

We've watched six episodes so far, but it's been a couple weeks and we haven't returned yet. We'll probably still finish the first season before we bail.

Yeah I just feel like the dialogue leaves a lot to be desired. And that there's very few, if any, truly likable characters.

I haven't seen Ragnarok but I loved the first Thor movie. Asgard looked beautiful and Branagh took the material seriously. Kat Dannings was good comic relief (and her character crossed over into the comics recently).

I didn’t love the first Thor movie but it wasn’t bad. I didn’t like the 2nd one. But Ragnorak was great. I think Comic purists probably didn’t like it because they didn’t like the portrayal of The Grand Master and probably thought it was too much of a comedy but it was a very enjoyable movie.

I flew through both seasons of Perry Mason. It was fantastic. I didn't agree with all the propaganda it was pedaling along a few story lines but it wasn't mindless nonsense. They actually made it interesting instead of just having it in there.

Matthew Rhys was excellent along with the rest of the cast. Well done.

I'm halfway through Succession season 4. I can't tell if its uber entertaining or the biggest shit show I've ever seen. It reminds me of Shameless but instead of being down and out poor people its with the mega wealthy. Greg and Tom have to be the dumbest characters ever and Roman is straight up worthless. I can't believe I've watched this long.
