IMHO, it was one of the best shows on TV and portrayed the military in a positive, yet accurate way.
I would have figured that a show created by David Mamet and Shawn Ryan would be given more of a chance to make it.
I just knew when they changed it's time slot from Tuesday's @ 9pm (after NCIS) to Sunday's @ 10 pm was the death knell for the show.
And what do they put on after NCIS???? The Mentalist! GMAFB!!!! I guess Simon Baker must really know how to pull a serious vacuum.
Les Moonves or his Director of Programming (or both) should be hung by their heels, stripped naked and beaten with lederhosen then covered in honey and made to run through the streets of Hollywood.
'True Blood' Scores Huge Ratings
Tuesday, June 16, 2009
The numbers are in, and True Blood is a bona fide hit for HBO. The early reports say that 3.7 million viewers watched the season 2 premiere on Sunday, a number that doesn't yet include the multiple airings the network offers.
That number might not seem high to American Idol followers who are used to getting more than 20 million, but for pay cable, this is huge. It's HBO's highest episode rating since the Sopranos season finale. True Blood season 1 debuted with just 1.44 million viewers, and the first season finale only earned 2.4 million viewers.
In other words, more than a million people got hooked on True Blood, and those are the kind of numbers that establish True Blood as HBO's next big franchise hit, a show that could easily run for five or six seasons.
Lost sucks balls.. I like them adding Jacob and his story but most of the finale was crap. This whole last season was horrible. It's been jumping around so much with time travel and all these other bs variables its hard to follow.
I wish the island would blow up and them just end it already.
F#*K OHIO!!!

True Blood is a good show. I am really excited about Entourage. Has anyone heard about Sons of Anarchy on Spike? That was a really good show also. I am hoping they put out a second season soon.
