That actually has me excited about Star Wars. Hope they get it right. Trailers can be deceiving though…
I’ve been hit and miss with Disney Star Wars.
Not as high on “The Mandalorian” as others. It’s enjoyable, but only popcorn entertainment.

There are a few HBO original/ Max stinkers out there. For example, not sure if you heard of “Santa Inc.”, but LMAO that series.
Some HBO series also suffer from having strong early seasons and tailing off. “Westworld”, “True Detective”, “Game of Thrones”….

But yeah, so many quality originals. I’m thinking “My Brilliant Friend” is the best series that nobody has heard of on HBO.

I think True Detective was good in all seasons. It’s difficult trying to follow the first season of perfection.

My son was home for spring break last week. We binged Reacher over a couple of nights. We enjoyed it. It was a fun show and had me laughing at the ridiculousness. Reacher is a good character and there was a good mix of action and humor. I am looking forward to the second season.

Deb, the good guy characters are very likable and the villains are easy to hate.

If you watch it, suspend belief and have fun with it. It is a bit predictable at times, but there are a few twists to throw you off.

Anyone watch the series “Billions?”
It’s on Showtime. Kind of like a combination of Succession, The Big Short, and The Wolf of Wallstreet. Hedge funder vs the government drama.
I’m a few episodes in and find it to be entertaining. I like how some actors from Homeland are in this series.

Curious if anyone has seen the new “Halo” series too. I haven’t yet because there’s some negativity about it. The original Halo games each had amazing stories. It would be a shame if Paramount didn’t get it right… especially after “Arcane” proved that video games can be made into a series(/movie).

I’m on the second Season of Billions. It’s mildly entertaining but that kind of series bores me after awhile. Nonstop Wall Street greed can only go so far.

It has a different dynamic with the wife on both sides which was a cool touch and the dude from Sideways is awesome
