"American Horror Story" season 7 starts this week I think... haven't watched since season 4, but the good thing is you don't really have to see prior seasons to catch up.
Not much else on until October ("Stranger Things" season 2 and "Mr. Robot" season 3).

Just amazed its Sept 2017 already because that means I finished rewatching LOST one year ago at this time. F*** time flies.
NEVER go to settings and look at your Netflix history... that is too depressing.

2nd episode of the season?
First one was kind of meh to me... had great moments, but overall fell flat. Like Cartman's plot with his (ex?) girlfriend, too much Randy with little plot.

Amazing news for GoT season 8. The best director, by far, is back... supposedly. Sapo has directed three of the best episodes.
I've heard rumbling that the four directors will be Sapochnik, David Nutter ("Red Wedding" guy), Alan Taylor ("Baelor", "Thor: The Dark World", "Terminator Genysis"), and Jack Bender (Hold the Door!).
All star list of directors... especially intrigued if Jack Bender returns. He is the best candidate to provide a Bran moment with parallel time story telling.

I'd say it still has it's moments.

A couple seasons ago (I think?) they decided to start doing overall story arcs for the entire season rather than just random episodes every week based on current events. There's still some of that, but since it's now all part of a bigger story some weeks are hit and miss.

Just got caught up last night. Good songs and a few nice moments, but I'm having a hard time watching South Park. Fair to say that Parker & Stone aren't the same anymore. Their new writers are terrible compared to Parker & Stone in their prime (starting with "Bigger, Longer, and Uncut" to about season 15).
Don't blame them. What is there to gain... also, it happens to most comedians as they age.

I started watching Fargo last year, just finished season 2.

Tremendous show.

They take so many intellectual risks and never fudge it up into the pretentious.

Opening scene of finale is accompanied by WAR PIGS -- and it couldn't feel any more fucking badass.

Anyone watch Falling Skies? I recorded it last night. It looks like it will be decent.

I started watching it when it first came out but then my cable company moved it off the sub basic tier I was on so I only saw a few episodes. Found it a while back on amazon prime and finally got to see it. Thankful they brought it to conclusion instead of leaving it orphaned or some rushed 2 hour movie episode to tie things up.
